5/8 THREADED ON ONE END AND STUD ON OTHER END

The wire rope on the stud end gets slid through a slot on the back of one carriage, so the stud is in place on the carriage, the rest of the cable gets routed through the pulleys and the threads only, go into the hole on the opposite carriage and then the washer and nut are attached to threaded end. You don’t try to pull the entire cable through the hole on the carriage…

Cable has “Button” on one end and “Threads” on the opposite end.
